Rachel Ross carded an 8-over-par 44 at Silverstone on Thursday to help Centennial’s girls golf team to a 181-186 win over Arbor View.

Larissa Munoz added a 45 for the Bulldogs.

Arbor View’s Alyssa Ballew was the medalist with a 41.

Rivera, Gorman girls win Southwest match
Nicolette Rivera carded a 4-over-par 39 Thursday at Angel Park to take medalist honors and lead Bishop Gorman to the win in a Southwest League match.

Teammates Kelly Horrell, JoJo Tice and Katie DeJesus each added a 44 for the Gaels. Spring Valley’s Julia Graham finished second individually with a 41.

Gorman shot 171 as a team, 30 strokes ahead of second-place Pahrump Valley. The Trojans edged third-place Bonanza 201-202, despite neither team placing a golfer in the top five.
