Outlook: Cobian, who led Western to the Sunset League title last year, takes over for Jose Gomez and hopes to continue Legacy’s run of success.
The Longhorns won the last two Class 4A state titles and captured the Southwest League last year before a stunning overtime loss in the first round of the Sunset Region playoffs.
“Last year’s early out from the playoffs has been a great motivation for the team to come back and have a better performance,” Cobian said. “The team has been working hard and they want to ‘Leave a Legacy one victory at a time.’”
