BOYS SOCCER: Late flurry sends Falcons past Skyhawks

Rony Estrada's goal with seven minutes left in the match capped a furious comeback as Foothill's boys soccer team rallied for a 5-4 win at Silverado on Thursday.

Michael Carnahan had two goals and an assist for the Falcons, who trailed 4-2 with 15 minutes to play. Becca Nyonyintono and Isaac Olsen each had a goal and an assist for Foothill.

Sean Borla scored twice, and Manny Jahuey and Jesse Dominguez each added a goal for the Skyhawks, who led 1-0 at the half.

Cimarron-Memorial 3, Tech 1 — At Tech, Carlo Quesada and Dresden Quackenbush each had a goal and an assist as the Spartans defeated the Roadrunners.

Philip Obradovic added a goal for Cimarron, which also got and assist from Jonathon Ornelas.

Tech's Francisco Garcia scored on an assist from Eduardo Sanchez.

Durango 10, Moapa Valley 0 — At Overton, Oscar Rodriguez and Christopher Barmasco each scored two goals as the Trailblazers routed the Pirates.

Marc Delangel-Parra, Carlos Palacios, Jamie Munguia, Luis Cabrera, Carlos Garcia and Christian Lemus also scored for Durango.

Tyson Tesfamariam notched three assists, and Giovanni Rodriguez added two assists for the Trailblazers.

Paolo Sarnataro made two saves to earn the shutout.

Bonanza 5, Del Sol 1 — At Del Sol, Juan Rodriguez recorded a hat trick, and the Bengals pulled away from the Dragons in the second half.

Taichi Mouri notched a goal and an assist, and Emerson Valle also scored for Bonanza, which led 1-0 at halftime.

Manuel Ponce had two assists, and Jonas Bryant added an assist for the the Bengals.

Daniel Barajas scored Del Sol's goal off an assist from Diego Nieves.

Arbor View 3, Palo Verde 1 — At Palo Verde, Niko Dongmann scored twice in the first half, and the Aggies topped the Panthers.

Dalton Rice had a goal, and Alfredo Carrera, Ricardo Carrera and Christian Limon each added an assist for Arbor View.

Teagan Jarvis scored for Palo Verde with Josh Fowler assisting.

Las Vegas 4, Eldorado 0 — At Eldorado, Randy Casas finished with two goals and an assist as the Wildcats routed the Sundevils.

Angel Pizano-Zamora and Aldo Pedraza added second-half goals, and Elias Torres had two assists for Las Vegas.

Miguel Navarrete recorded the shutout.

Centennial 1, Bishop Gorman 1 — At Gorman, the Bulldogs and Gaels finished deadlocked after trading first-half goals.

Cobi DeLeon scored on an assist from Corrigan Neville for Gorman.

Jacob Garcia had Centennial's goal, with an assist from Logan Bodnar.
