BOYS SOCCER: Paz, Ensisco help Miners down Boulder City

Jose Paz scored two goals, and Alejandro Encisco added a goal and two assists on Thursday to lead Sunrise Mountain’s boys soccer team to a 5-0 win over visiting Boulder City.

Pedro Sida and Jose Arellano each added a goal for the Miners, who got two assists from Carlos Herrera.

Carlos Cruz and Herbie Lopez combined on the shutout for Sunrise Mountain.

Desert Pines 2, Tech 1 — At Tech, Diego Sanchez and Genaro Corona each scored a goal to lift the Jaguars by the Roadrunners.

Damian Vera scored for the Roadrunners, which had a game-tying penalty kick stopped by Desert Pines’ goalkeeper, Jose Diaz.

Centennial 2, Cimarron-Memorial 2 — At Cimarron, Eric Sanchez and Pablo Gatti each had a goal as the Bulldogs twice battled back from one-goal deficits to tie the Spartans.

Eddie Ortiz and Garrick Quackenbush each had a goal for Cimarron.

Faith Lutheran 1, Mojave 1 — At Mojave, the Crusaders’ Aidan Gross and the Rattlers’ Cristopher Pulido exchanged first-half goals as the teams played to a tie.

Cheyenne 4, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Cheyenne, Omar Garcia had two goals and an assist to help the Desert Shields top the Trojans.

Geovanni Pizano added a goal and an assist, and Chase Castro also scored for Cheyenne.

Santiago Vasquez made 15 saves en route to the shutout.

Western 5, Adelson School 0 — At Adelson School, Isaac Arellano scored twice to lead the Warriors by the Lions.

Bruno Aleman and Ricardo Gonzalez each had a goal and an assist, and Hugo Caldera also scored for Western.

Manuel Guillermo made two saves en route to the shutout.

Bishop Gorman 5, Desert Oasis 1 — At Desert Oasis, Tristan Blackmon netted three goals as the Gaels downed the Diamondbacks.

Chaz Laforett and Matt Fike also scored for Gorman.

Eric Biorato scored for Desert Oasis.

Legacy 7, Bonanza 1 — At Bonanza, Rodolfo Robles had two goals and an assist, and Jose Ramirez added two goals as the Longhorns blitzed the Bengals.

Luka Skrinjaric added a goal and three assists, and Gabriel Nunez and Salvador Gordian also scored for Legacy.

Chaparral 7, Moapa Valley 0 — At Chaparral, Jose Morales had four goals and two assists as the Cowboys blanked the Pirates.

Gavynn Mossiah added two goals and an assist, and Alex Robledo had a goal and an assist for Chaparral, which also got two assists from Aldo Skewes.

Gerardo Skewes stopped the lone shot on goal to record the shutout.

Clark 9, The Meadows 0 — At Clark, Alexis Lopez had two goals and an assist, and Jose Munoz and Oscar Martinez scored two goals each to lead the Chargers by the Mustangs.

Eduardo Martinez scored a goal and had three assists, and Jose Martinez had a goal and two assists for Clark, which got a goal from Rojeilo Mata.

Renaldo Sandoval made one save and was credited with the shutout.
