BOYS SOCCER: Ponce scores four, leads Bonanza by Arbor View

Manuel Ponce scored four goals, including the match-winner on a penalty kick with less than 10 minutes remaining, to help Bonanza's boys soccer team to a 5-4 win over visiting Arbor View on Tuesday.

Skylar Villasenor also scored for the Bengals.

Niko Dongmann scored twice, and Dalton Rice had a goal for the Aggies, who benefitted from an own goal.

Las Vegas 2, Canyon Springs 1 — At Canyon Springs, Elias Torres netted the tie-breaking goal eight minutes into the second half to lift the Wildcats over the Pioneers.

Emmanuel Parra also scored for Las Vegas.

Juan Covarrubias scored for Canyon Springs.

Cimarron-Memorial 3, Centennial 2 — At Cimarron, Dresdan Quackenbush had a goal and two assists as the Spartans grabbed a 3-0 lead and held on to edge the Bulldogs.

Roberto Elicerio and Arturo Bahena also scored for Cimarron.

Alex Maesaka scored twice for Centennial.

Liberty 3, Silverado 1 — At Liberty, Joey Hollimon scored twice to lead the Patriots to victory over the Skyhawks.

Colton Cox added a goal for Liberty, and teammate Eduardo Soriano had two assists.

Jaime Ayala scored for Silverado.

Spring Valley 6, Faith Lutheran 2 — At Spring Valley, Jose Lopez had two goals and an assist, and Octavio Montenegro added two goals as the Grizzlies cruised past the Crusaders.

Ethan Orme supplied a goal and two assists, and David Van Hoose had a goal and an assist for Spring Valley.

Conner Frame and Austin Hunter scored for Faith Lutheran.

Sierra Vista 7, Desert Oasis 2 — At Sierra Vista, Kebba Jobe had three goals and three assists to lead the Mountain Lions by the Diamondbacks.

Zekarias Kassaye added two goals, and Giovanni D'Ascenzo and Konnor King also scored for Sierra Vista.

Alec Kuklish had a goal and an assist for Desert Oasis, and Nicholas Betran scored once for the Diamondbacks.

Western 6, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, the Warriors scored five first-half goals en route to the win over the Desert Shields.

Angel Gutierrez-Montes scored twice for Western, and Nathaniel Reyes had a goal and an assist. Alonso Campos-Martinez, Carlos Bautista-Martinez and Salvador Romero-Mange each added a goal for the Warriors.

Jose Anaya had two saves in the shutout.

Clark 9, Pahrump Valley 1 — At Pahrump, Anthony Arlt notched two goals and an assist, and William Solis and Kevin Medina each scored twice as the Chargers routed the Trojans.

Steven Russell had a goal and two assists, and Ivan Lopez had a goal and an assist for Clark, which also got a goal from Ben Harris.
