BOYS SOCCER: Rice scores twice in second half, lifts Aggies

Dalton Rice scored two second-half goals Friday to help Arbor View's boys soccer team to a 2-0 home win over Legacy.

Niko Dongmann assisted on both goals, and Gabe Sano made four saves to earn the shutout for the Aggies.

Shadow Ridge 3, Spring Valley 2 — At Spring Valley, Guillermo Nava scored twice, and the Mustangs overcame a 2-1 halftime deficit to top the Grizzlies.

Jack Guynn added a goal and an assist, and Alvaro Gonzalez had two assists for Shadow Ridge.

Ethan Orme and Matthew Bowers scored for Spring Valley.

Rancho 4, Boulder City 0 — At Rancho, Jaime Carbajal had two goals, and Joshua Mireku and Jorge Alejo each scored to lead the Rams past the Eagles.

Angel Alvarez-Walker and Jorge Ybarra combined on the shutout.

Clark 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, Juan Sanchez-Moran scored twice to lead the Chargers by the Desert Shields.

Leo Franco added a goal for Clark.

Tristan Polakowski made two saves to earn the shutout.

Liberty 3, Centennial 1 — At Liberty, Joey Hollimon had a goal and two assists to lead the Patriots by the Bulldogs.

Jason Angel Gilliland and Jayzen Ramirez also scored for Liberty.

Jacob Mecham scored for Centennial.

Mojave 5, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Pahrump, Antonio Perez scored two goals to lead the Rattlers by the Trojans.

Enrique Anaya, Julian Urias-Medina and Bryan Alvarez also scored for Mojave, which got two assists from Eduardo Luna-Ruiz.

Western 6, Sierra Vista 0 — At Western, Nathaniel Reyes scored two goals, and Ricardo Gonzalez had a goal and two assists to power the Warriors by the Mountain Lions.

Alfredo Gomez, Guillaume Chevalier and Angel Gutierrez-Montes all scored for Western, which led 5-0 at halftime.

Jose Anaya made three saves to earn the shutout.

Snowflake (Ariz.) 3, Faith Lutheran 2 — At Show Low, Ariz., Conner Frame and Pierce Taylor each scored a goal in the Crusaders' loss to the Lobos.

Green Valley 5, Show Low (Ariz.) 0 — At Show Low, Ariz., Maliq Cooper, Antonio Trama and Ricardo Nunez each had a goal and an assist to lead the Gators by the Cougars in the Show Low Invitational.

Elyjah DeLeon and Noah Whitehead also scored for Green Valley, which got a shutout from Salvatore Hicks.

Green Valley 10, Snowflake (Ariz.) 0 — At Show Low, Ariz., Nunez notched three goals and an assist, and Cooper had seven assists to lead the Gators by the Lobos in the Show Low Inivtational.

Trama added two goals and two assists, and Alessandro Sanchez scored twice for Green Valley, which also got goals from Alex Gibson, DeLeon and Leo Perez.

Salvatore Hicks made four saves en route to the shutout.
