ROUNDUP: Pacheco helps Gators overcome visiting Patriots

Alejandro Pacheco notched a goal and two assists, and Matt Babas added a goal and an assist Wednesday as Green Valley’s boys soccer team pulled away from visiting Liberty for a 6-1 win.

Ivan Rodriguez, Daniel Valdez, Carter Compton and Jared Christenson also scored for Green Valley.

Daniel Musovski tallied Liberty’s goal.

Tech 7, Basic 0 — At Tech, Salvador Garcia scored three goals, and Rafael Munoz added a goal and two assists as the Roadrunners routed the Wolves.

Oscar Velazquez and Jesus Herrera scored a goal apiece for Tech, which got two assists each from Edwin Lopez and Julio Vargas.

Abdel Rodriguez and Angel Gomez combined on the shutout.

Coronado 1, Del Sol 1 — At Del Sol, Jesus Maciel’s second-half goal allowed the Cougars to tie the Dragons.

Roberto Perez got Del Sol on the board in the first half.

Silverado 4, Foothill 2 — At Foothill, Devin Diego had a goal and three assists to lead the Skyhawks past the Falcons.

Dakota Hallaway added a goal and an assist, and Vincent Stokes and Chase Leaders each struck a goal for Silverado.

Christian Volesky had both goals for Foothill.

Canyon Springs 2, Chaparral 0 — At Chaparral, Roger Lopez scored both goals as the Pioneers downed the Cowboys.

Sixto Lucero made three saves to earn the shutout.

Desert Pines 4, Sunrise Mountain 2 — At Desert Pines, Gerardo Romero scored two goals as the Jaguars held off the Miners.

Victor Favela and Ruben Arzola also scored for the Jaguars.

Johnny Rascon and Mario Ahumanda tallied a goal apiece for Sunrise Mountain.

Las Vegas 2, Rancho 0 — At Las Vegas High, Erick Fedde scored a goal in each half to lead the Wildcats past the visiting Rams.

Roger Zaragoza was in goal to claim the shutout for Las Vegas.

Valley 4, Eldorado 1 — At Eldorado, Eddy Flores, Juan Gomez, Gugielmo Serda and Carlos Flores each scored a second-half goal as the Vikings overcame a 1-0 halftime deficit and downed the Sundevils.
