ROUNDUP: Perez’s goal sends Bulldog boys past Sundevils

Andres Perez scored the game-winning goal in the second half Thursday as Centennial’s boys soccer team nipped host Eldorado, 3-2.

Eric Sanchez and Sean Jenne each had a goal for the Bulldogs.

Juan Contreras and Josue Gomez each scored a goal for the Sundevils.

Sunrise Mountain 2, Virgin Valley 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Edwin Solorzan and Raciel Jimenez each had a goal to lift the Miners past the Bulldogs.

Herbie Lopez earned the shutout with 12 saves.

Tech 5, Chaparral 0 — At Tech, Erik Gonzalez had two goals and an assist as the Roadrunners blanked the Cowboys.

Julio Vargas, Rafael Valdez and Hugo Flores all chipped in a goal for Tech.

Christian Mojarro was in goal for the shutout.

Rancho 4, Boulder City 1 — At Rancho, Miguel Diaz-Ortiz had a goal and an assist to help the Rams top the Eagles.

Brandon Contreras, Alvaro Meza-Torres and Aaron Ortiz each added a goal for Rancho, which led 1-0 at the half.

Braize Huxford scored for Boulder City.

Desert Pines 3, Moapa Valley 2 — At Desert Pines, the Jaguars rallied for a late goal to break a 2-2 tie and beat the Panthers.

Desert Pines led 2-0 at the half, but Moapa Valley’s Magnus Mortvedt and Arturo Gutierrez scored within 30 seconds of each other in the second-half to tie the game.

The go-ahead goal came with the Pirates playing a man down after a red card.

Cimarron-Memorial 2, Sierra Vista 0 — At Sierra Vista, Garrick Quackenbush and Johnny Centeno each had a goal as the Spartans downed the Mountain Lions.

Oso Valencia had two assists for Cimarron.

Eddie Ortiz made five saves en route to the shutout.

Western 5, Mojave 3 — At Mojave, Luis Ponce had a goal and two assists to lead the Warriors past the Rattlers.

Bruno Aleman, Cesar Carranca, Edgar Lujano and Christopher Orellana also scored for Western.

Cristopher Pulido scored all three Mojave goals.

Clark 2, Cheyenne 2 — At Cheyenne, Manuel Ponce and Jose Rios each scored a first-half goal to help the Chargers earn a tie with the Desert Shields.

Edgar Favala had two assists for Clark.

Omar Garcia and Roy Villacano scored for Cheyenne.

Faith Lutheran 6, Adelson School 1 — At Faith Lutheran, D’Khari Hicks scored three goals to lead the Crusaders past the Lions.

Harut Khachoyan, Michael Manfredi, and Sam Stevens each scored a goal for Faith Lutheran.

Noah Weller scored for Adelson.

The Meadows 2, Pahrump Valley 1 — At The Meadows, Matthew Hodapp’s goal early in the second half broke a 1-1 tie and lifted the Mustangs past the Trojans.
