GIRLS SOCCER: Aggies earn rain-shortened win

Lexi Epley and Katelyn Laurente each scored a goal Wednesday to lift Arbor View’s girls soccer team to a 2-0 win over Centennial in the Las Vegas Kick-Off at Green Valley.

The match was called after 15 minutes of play in the second half due to rain.

Jamie Wilson recorded the shutout for the Aggies.

Coronado 1, Green Valley 0 — At Green Valley, Michaela Morris scored a first-half goal to propel the Cougars past the Gators in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.

Cheyenne 4, Boulder City 2 — At Boulder City, Josie Lourenco had three assists, and the Desert Shields rallied from a 2-1 halftime deficit to top the Eagles.

Jocelyn Vasquez, Girly Tambeagbor, Stephanie Chinchilla and Emily Gutierrez all scored for Cheyenne.

Jane Nevarez and Vilde Svendsen scored for Boulder City.

Durango 1, Mojave 0 — At Durango, Austin Martines’ goal in the first half stood up as the Trailblazers nipped the Rattlers in a match stopped early in the second half due to rain.

Victoria Bashore made four saves and recorded a shutout for Durango.
