GIRLS SOCCER: Remy’s goal gives Eagles win over Pirates

Oshauna Remy’s goal with 15 minutes left in the match Monday lifted Boulder City’s girls soccer team to a 1-0 home victory over Moapa Valley.

Jeanne Carmell made seven saves to earn the shutout for the Eagles.

Shadow Ridge 4, Legacy 2 — At Shadow Ridge, Stephanie Nava scored twice to lead the Mustangs by the Longhorns.

Joey Wright added a goal and an assist, and Abigayle Esqueda also scored for Shadow Ridge.

Nadia Hernandez had both goals for Legacy.

Eldorado 4, Basic 2 — At Eldorado, Madison Granger had a goal and two assists to lead the Sundevils over the Wolves.

Brianna Duran and Cristal Mendoza each added a goal and an assist, and Kimberly Tapia also scored for Eldorado.

Destinie Flores and Breana Moreira scored for Basic.

Desert Pines 5, Chaparral 1 — At Desert Pines, Jeanna Marin scored three goals to lead the Jaguars to victory over the Cowboys.

Melani Solis and Mariyah Espinoza also scored for Desert Pines, which got two assists apiece from Monica Cruz and Genessis Martinez.

Leticia Ibarra converted a penalty kick for Chaparral.

Coronado 6, Foothill 1 — At Foothill, Taylor Kornieck had three goals to lead the Cougars by the Falcons.

Michaela Morris added two goals and an assist, and Taylor Houston scored a goal for Coronado, which got two assists from Courtney Dramm.

Rae Burrell scored for Foothill.

Virgin Valley 7, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, Abbie Barnum scored five goals as the Bulldogs rolled past the Dragons.

Kallie Graves had a goal and three assists, and Ana Mejia added a goal for Virgin Valley.

Spencer Green made four saves to earn the shutout.

Bishop Gorman 7, Durango 0 — At Durango, Hannah Borgel scored three goals, and Gabrielle Mazzara added two goals as the Gaels rolled over the Trailblazers.

Janey Fielden had a goal and an assist, and McKayla Philippi also scored for Gorman, which got two assists from Tatum Buckley.

Jessica Anaya was in goal for the shutout.

Green Valley 8, Rancho 0 — At Green Valley, Alexis Kirson had three goals and an assist as the Gators routed the Rams.

Talia Lopez added two goals, and Sydney Holborrow had a goal and two assists for Green Valley, which also got goals from Isabel Madrid and Chloe Kirson. Lianna Soifua had two assists.

Kiyana Lopez and Ryan Sabol combined on the shutout.

Tech 10, Sunrise Mountain 1 — At Heritage Park, Abrana Wielgosiak had five goals and an assist as the Roadrunners routed the Miners.

Melissa Lopez added three goals and two assists, and Veronica Gonzales had two goals and an assist for Tech.

Xitlaly Manzo scored for Sunrise Mountain.
