ROUNDUP: Gunny’s 10 saves allow Mustangs to tie Palo Verde, post fifth straight shutout

Freshman goalkeeper Dallas Gunny made 10 saves Thursday to lead Shadow Ridge’s girls soccer team to its fifth consecutive shutout with a 0-0 tie at Palo Verde.
The Mustangs have gone 2-0-2 against the other teams in the Northwest League with winning records through the past two weeks, a feat that inches them closer to securing a spot in the Sunset Region playoffs.
Stacie Gubler made two saves for Palo Verde.
Centennial 10, Legacy 0 — At Centennial, Dominique Romero tallied three goals, and Danielle Farano added two goals and two assists as the Bulldogs blitzed the Longhorns.
Bethanie Skelton had a goal and two assists, and Sienna Drizin, Gabriella Romero, Shanell McDonnell and Samantha McLaughlin each supplied a goal.
Natalie Gilbertson and Emily Murzinski combined on the shutout.
Cimarron-Memorial 8, Mojave 0 — At Cimarron, Brooke D’Onofrio racked up five goals, and Tessa Sanchez contributed three goals and an assist as the Spartans routed the the Rattlers.
Chelsea Romeo added two assists for Cimarron.
Celene Johnson and Ryann Abeyta combined on the shutout.
Arbor View 10, Cheyenne 0 — At Arbor View, Tara LeBaron posted four goals and two assists to help the Aggies blank the Desert Shields.
Amberly Halstead added two goals and two assists, and Falon Miller had two goals and an assist for Arbor View, which also got goals from Kayla White and Julia Garcia.
Kyla Salazar and Hayley Fife combined on the shutout.
Bonanza 1, Desert Oasis 0 — At Desert Oasis, Bree Hammel connected on a 30-yard free kick with 12 minutes remaining to lift the Bengals past the Diamondbacks.
Samantha Haeick made nine saves to earn the shutout for Bonanza.
Sierra Vista 1, Durango 0 — At Durango, Darien Walker’s first-half goal allowed the Mountain Lions to edge the Trailblazers.
Tina Tyner registered the shutout for Sierra Vista.
Spring Valley 6, Western 0 — At Western, Leslie Carroll tallied three goals, and Markie Henderson scored twice as the Grizzlies downed the Warriors.
Peyton Leblue also scored for Spring Valley, which earned the shutout for goalkeeper Megan Delaney.
