ROUNDUP: Nunez nets winner as Las Vegas girls top Skyhawks

Alica Nunez’s goal with 10 minutes left in the second half Monday lifted Las Vegas High’s girls soccer team to a 4-3 home win over Silverado.

Nunez had three goals, and Vanessa Martinez also scored for Las Vegas, which trailed 2-0 at halftime.

A.J. Hodas, Dani Parven and Sidney Iwata all scored for the Skyhawks.

Eldorado 2, Basic 2 — 
At Basic, Maureen Henderson’s goal midway through the second half allowed the Wolves to tie the Sundevils.

Ali Kelly also scored for Basic, which got two assists from Tristan Radley.

Vanessa Rojo and Vanessa Sanabria scored for Eldorado.

Shadow Ridge 3, Sierra Vista 1 — At Sierra Vista, Taylor Lopez scored twice to help the Mustangs top the Mountain Lions.

Ariana Carmona also scored for Shadow Ridge.

Sophia Omidiji scored for Sierra Vista.

Green Valley 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, Cayla Imahara scored twice, and Mackenzie Zurcher added a goal as the Gators blanked the Pioneers.

Kiyana Lopez stopped three shots to earn the shutout for Green Valley.

Foothill 4, Liberty 0 — At Foothill, Rachel Neff had two goals and an assist, and Myriah Epino scored two goals to lead the Falcons over the Patriots.

Alyssa Gamboa had two assists, and Rachel Kole stopped four shots to get the shutout.

Valley 3, Rancho 1 — At Rancho, Brandy Barton scored two goals to help the Vikings top the Rams.
Nada Gutierrez also scored for Valley.

Jasmine Marin scored for Rancho.

Palo Verde 8, Spring Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, Alexa D’Acunto and Lana Laudermilch each scored two goals to lead the Panthers over the Grizzlies.

Hannah Coleman added a goal and an assist, and Kirstin Farley, Serenity Grim and Christene Whitaker each scored a goal for Palo Verde.

Kaia Mendenhall made one save en route to the shutout.

Arbor View 9, Durango 1 — At Durango, Chandler Yoder had four goals and two assists, and Bailee Davis had three goals and an assist to lead the Aggies in a rout over the Trailblazers.

Alexis Pryor and Kendra Wallace each scored a goal for Arbor View.

Damonique Thomas scored for Durango.

Coronado 10, Del Sol 0 — At Coronado, Breanna McCallum had two goals and an assist, and Kara Kopolow scored twice as the Cougars blitzed the Dragons.

Kelsey Stipek, Gabriela Morris and Tiffany Fraser each had a goal and an assist, and Kasey Ficklin, Madison Thompson and Chynna Zurflueh had a goal apiece for Coronado. Savannah Schmidt and Kathleen Cuevas each had two assists.

Cristina Burgess and Melanie Frank combined on the shutout.
