ROUNDUP: Soto helps Mojave boys earn draw with visiting Palo Verde

Benjamin Soto scored a first-half goal to give Mojave’s boys soccer team a 1-1 tie with visiting Palo Verde on Tuesday.
 
The Rattlers’ Roosevelt Solis assisted on Soto’s strike.
 
Alexander Shackley’s second-half goal allowed the Panthers to tie the match.
 
Centennial 0, Arbor View 0 — At Arbor View, the Bulldogs and Aggies played to a scoreless tie.
 
Centennial’s Alex Rodriguez and Arbor View’s Christian Hallstrom had the shutouts.

Cimarron-Memorial 2, Cheyenne 1 — At Cheyenne, Michael Amira and Oso Valencia each had a goal as the Spartans edged the Desert Shields.
 
Jackson Collins scored for Cheyenne.
 
Legacy 2, Faith Lutheran 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Legacy’s Saul Aguirre scored two goals to lead the Longhorns past the Crusaders.
 
Goalkeeper Ramon Carvajal picked up the shutout and added an assist for Legacy.
 
Bishop Gorman 8, Durango 0 — At Durango, Tyler Eng tallied two goals and an assist, and Shane Thompson had a goal and two assists to help the Gaels blitz the Trailblazers.
 
Michael Tonetti, Ramak Roohani, Gabe Skerligh, Nick Wessen and Ryan McEvoy also scored for Gorman.
 
Thomas Olsen was in goal for the shutout.

Bonanza 3, Spring Valley 1 — At Bonanza, Robert Sagel scored two goals to lead the Bengals past the Grizzlies.
 
Eduardo Munguia also scored for Bonanza.
 
Seth McGinn scored in the second half for Spring Valley.
 
Western 5, Sierra Vista 1 — At Sierra Vista, Joshua Ballard had two goals and an assist, and Jonathan Sanchez added a goal and two assists as the Warriors topped the Mountain Lions.
 
Mario Mendoza and Armando Herrera also scored for Western.
 
Clark 2, Pahrump Valley 1 — At Pahrump, Armandi Sorig and Juan Nonce each scored a first-half goal for Clark, and the Chargers held on for the victory.
 
Joshua Stardlin scored in the second half for the Trojans.
 
Canyon Springs 4, Rancho 0 — At Canyon Springs, Victor Gines scored a goal in each half to lead the Pioneers to their first win of the season.
 
Luis Arroyo and Tomas Rodriguez added a goal apiece for Canyon Springs, which led 2-0 at halftime.

Luis Cruz scored off a pass from Danny Magana late in the first half for Eldorado to cut the lead to one, but Desert Pines held on in the second half for the win.
 
Shadow Ridge 3, Virgin Valley 1 — At Shadow Ridge, Blake Damato scored three goals to power the Mustangs past the Bulldogs.
 
Robert Garcia assisted on two of Damato’s goals.
 
Marco Diaz scored for the Bulldogs.

Desert Oasis 2, Boulder City 0 — At Desert Oasis, Strahinja Pavlovic and Jarom Stuart scored second-half goals to lift the Diamondbacks past the Eagles.
 
Adam Eslinger made three saves en route to the shutout for Desert Oasis.
GIRLS
 
Pahrump Valley 12, River Valley (Ariz.) 1 — At River Valley, Ariz., Melissa Ewing scored six goals as the Trojans cruised past the Dust Devils.
 
Janet Garcia added four goals for Pahrump. Leanne Morrow and Sara Dennis also scored for the Trojans.

Faith Lutheran 10, Adelson School 0 — At Adelson, Kendall Pori, Charlotte Vancura, Dani Theraldson and Kristen Uy each scored twice to lead the Crusaders in a rout of the Lions.
 
Jessica Forage and Taylor Pori added a goal apiece for Faith Lutheran, and teammate Kelly Zufall was in goal for the shutout.
 
Boulder City 6, Moapa Valley 0 — At Moapa Valley, Jenna Sillitoe kicked in two goals to help the Eagles rout the Pirates.
 
Taylor Imley, Tasja Toumasis, Marque Waldo and Jeanette McQuillan also scored goals for Boulder City, and Mikaela Stevens recorded the shutout.
