Skyla Faught had 26 kills and 31 digs, and Brooklyn Stone had 40 assists and 24 digs Wednesday as the Las Vegas girls volleyball team rallied to beat host Legacy, 25-27, 17-25, 25-20, 25-20, 15-11.
Las Vegas High’s Brooklyn Stone recorded 40 assists, eight digs and four aces and Skyla Faught chipped in with 16 kills, 13 digs and three aces as the host Wildcats turned back Centennial, 22-25, 25-11, 25-13, 25-16.
Hailey Carroll had 21 assists and 15 kills, and teammate Kyrie Lorfing supplied 23 assists, 10 kills and three aces to lead Faith Lutheran’s girls volleyball team to a 21-25, 25-15, 25-22, 25-20 home win over Centennial on Wednesday.
Justin Madsen went 3-0 in singles to lead Centennial’s boys tennis team to an 11-7 road victory over Las Vegas High.
Emma Wilson went 2-0 in singles to help Virgin Valley’s girls tennis team land a 10-8 road victory over Del Sol on Tuesday afternoon.
McKenzi Hall shot a 3-under-par 69 at Paiute on Tuesday to share medalist honors and lead Centennial’s girls golf team to victory in Northwest League match.
Cody Prince won the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 52.06 seconds and a margin of victory of .32 seconds to lead the Shadow Ridge boys swimming team to a 149-145 victory over Centennial at Pavilion on Saturday.
Maddy Pewtress won two individual events and swam on two winning relay teams Saturday at Multi-Generational to lead Eldorado’s girls swimming team to a 118-62 win over Chaparral.
