Legacy’s Mikaela Nunez scored four touchdowns and the Longhorns held on for a 24-21 road win over second-ranked Cimarron-Memorial in flag football on Tuesday.
Aaryn Anderson and Ishon Hardin each scored 20 points as Centennial’s boys basketball team held on for a 67-61 win over visiting Palo Verde on Friday.
Arbor View’s Keith Williams led at the front of a pack of five runners early. Eventually, he managed to hold off PahrumpValley’s Bryce Odegard and Centennial’s Alexander Miller in the final quarter mile, putting in a good finishing kick to cross the line in 16 minutes and 13 seconds.
