There are a number of interesting league games taking place in Southern Nevada high school football this week. Here are five to keep an eye on.

Damion Byrd drained a 66-footer as time expired in overtime Wednesday to lift host Silverado’s boys basketball team to a 72-71 overtime win over Desert Oasis.
Elasjanae Burns had 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Desert Pines girls basketball team to a 36-21 home victory over Eldorado on Wednesday.
Sam Greene scored 26 points Monday to lead Legacy’s girls basketball team to a 48-37 win at Desert Pines.
Emmanuel Austin led four double-figure scorers with 15 points Tuesday as Legacy’s boys basketball team cruised to a 72-48 win at Rancho.
Germanie White scored 10 points Tuesday to help Cheyenne’s girls basketball team to a 46-40 win at Desert Pines.
Marc Williams and Noah Gallardo each won individual titles on Saturday to lead Shadow Ridge to a second-place team finish at the Las Vegas Holiday Classic at South Point.
Jasmine Richardson scored 13 of her 29 points during a third-quarter run that lifted host Basic’s girls basketball team to a 50-40 win over Mojave on Friday.
Glenn Taylor had 22 points, 10 rebounds and three steals Wednesday to help host Cheyenne’s boys basketball team battle back for a 53-50 win over Las Vegas.
Desi-Rae Young scored 22 points Wednesday to lead the Desert Oasis girls basketball team to a 42-37 win at Spring Valley.
Taylor Etopio scored 13 points on Tuesday to lead Faith Lutheran’s girls basketball team to a 54-48 home win over Green Valley.
Milos Uzan’s steal and basket with 18 seconds left broke a 61-61 tie and led the Desert Pines boys basketball team to a 65-61 home win over Eldorado on Tuesday.

No. 2-ranked Bishop Gorman lost to No. 1 Mater Dei in what was billed as the de facto high school football national title game Friday in Santa Ana, California.
