ROUNDUP: Petrolia fans eight as Falcons top Wolves

Alex Petrolia tossed a four-hitter and struck out eight Tuesday to lead Foothill’s softball team to a 4-0 home win over Basic.
Gabby Canibeyaz went 2-for-3 with two runs scored for the Falcons.
Basic’s Lacey Romo spun a five-hitter with six strikeouts.
Coronado 12, Tech 1 — At Tech, Katie Cochran was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs, and the Cougars scored eight runs with two outs in the fifth inning to cruise past the Roadrunners.
Lee Harrison tossed a two-hitter with eight strikeouts and went 2-for-4 for Coronado. Brianna Portese and Kim Dawson added two hits apiece for the Cougars.
Silverado 12, Liberty 5 — At Liberty, Ashley Phillips was 3-for-4 with a double as the Skyhawks scored three runs in the sixth inning and nine in the seventh to down the Patriots.
Riana Splinter added two hits for Silverado.
Megan Patras went 2-for-3 with two triples, and Francesca Foti was 2-for-3 with a double for Liberty.
Green Valley 17, Del Sol 6 — At Del Sol, Chelsea Anderson went 3-for-3 with two doubles and two runs as the Gators downed the Dragons in five innings.
Maggie Manwarren and Megan Barrera each went 2-for-5 with three runs, and Lace Jordan was 2-for-3 with a double and two runs for Green Valley. Lindsay Seberry was 2-for-4 with a triple for Green Valley.
Ashley Ross was 2-for-3 with a triple, and Desiree Orozco went 2-for-4 for Del Sol.
Eldorado 9, Chaparral 4 — At Chaparral, Ashley Jarzombek went 2-for-3 with a run scored and tossed a nine-hitter as the Sundevils defeated the Cowboys.
Brooke Ortiz was 3-for-3 with a triple for Eldorado.
Kendy Reynoso went 3-for-3 with a double, two runs and an RBI for Chaparral.
Valley 16, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Brianna Johnson was 4-for-5 with a triple and two RBIs as the Vikings routed the Miners in six innings.
Mickayla Romero tossed a two-hitter and went 2-for-5 with two triples and three RBIs, and Zoe Galindo was 2-for-5 with a triple, a double and four RBIs for Valley.
Las Vegas 9, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, Kristina Nelson spun a three-hitter and struck out six as the Wildcats blanked the Pioneers.
Taylor Price went 3-for-4 with a triple for Las Vegas.
Rancho 26, Desert Pines 2 — At Desert Pines, Jennifer Cruz went 6-for-6 with two triples, a double and six RBIs, and the Rams used an 18-run first inning on their way to a rout of the Jaguars.
Legacy 11, Faith Lutheran 1 — At Legacy, Sierra Pico tossed a three-hitter with six strikeouts as the Longhorns rolled the Crusaders in five innings.
Danielle Pick went 1-for-2 with two RBIs for Legacy.
North Valleys 7, Bishop Gorman 4 — At Gorman, Ashley Reese tossed a complete game with 13 strikeouts and two walks, and teammate Tehenia Tilliano went 4-for-5 with a home run, a double and six RBIs as the Panthers held off the Gaels.
Alexandria Gordon was 3-for-4 with a double, two runs and two stolen bases for Gorman.
