ROUNDUP: Rodrick’s three-hitter helps Trojans stun Chargers

Whitney Rodrick tossed a three-hitter and struck out five Monday as Pahrump Valley’s softball team handed host Clark its first Southwest League loss, 6-1.
Mallory Busby was 2-for-3 with two runs scored for Pahrump.
Arbor View 4, Cimarron-Memorial 3 — At Arbor View, Chelsa Baca’s RBI double in the fifth inning broke a 3-3 tie and helped the Aggies edge the Spartans.
Ashlyn Ames walked to start the rally, and went to second on a sacrifice bunt by Karli Lehr.
Baca was 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs, and Kristina Billante went 3-for-4 with a run and three stolen bases for Arbor View.
Cimarron’s Carli Stafford went 3-for-4 with a double, and teammate Sarina Creswell was 2-for-4 with three RBIs.
Silverado 4, Green Valley 3 — At Green Valley, Ashlee Phillips went 1-for-2 with the go-ahead RBI in the top of the sixth inning to help the Skyhawks edge the Gators.
Katie Amaral tied the game in the sixth with a solo home run, and Kenna Turner reached base on an error before scoring on Phillips’ hit.
Amaral finished 2-for-4, and Kiki Pindel went 1-for-3 with a two-run double for Silverado.
Spring Valley 9, Bonanza 1 — At Spring Valley, Sindy Cummings was 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, three RBIs and two runs to lead the Grizzlies by the Bengals.
Ellie Endsley was 4-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs, and Sara Stowers was 3-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored for Spring Valley, which led 8-1 after three innings.
Ashley Coate tossed a seven-hitter for Spring Valley.
Sierra Vista 10, Western 2 — At Western, Felicia Richardson pitched a four-hitter and struck out nine to lead the Mountain Lions past the Warriors.
Kalene Sales-Watkins was 3-for-4 with a double, three runs and two RBIs, and Kira Felise went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored for Sierra Vista.
Centennial 19, Faith Lutheran 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Taylor Huntly came within an error of a perfect game, settling for a five-inning no-hitter with two strikeouts as the Bulldogs routed the Crusaders.
Huntly was 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs, and Heather Bowen went 4-for-4 with a double, two home runs and seven RBIs for Centennial, which scored seven runs in the fifth inning.
Centennial’s Mia Acuna went 3-for-4 with two double and four RBIs.
Legacy 21, Mojave 1 — At Mojave, Alysia Santos had three doubles and tossed a five-inning three-hitter with nine strikeouts as the Longhorns routed the Rattlers.
Danielle Pick was 3-for-4 with three doubles and two runs for Legacy.
Shadow Ridge 16, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, Krislyn Campos went 4-for-4 with two doubles and four RBIs to lead the Mustangs to a five-inning win over the Desert Shields.
Taylor Velarde went 3-for-4 with three doubles and four RBIs to help Shadow Ridge, which belted out 16 hits. Teammate Tana Feiner tossed a three-hitter.
Palo Verde 13, Liberty 9 — At Palo Verde, Breanna Beatty went 4-for-4 with a home run, three doubles and five RBIs as the Panthers outlasted the Patriots.
Brooke Stover went 2-for-4 for Palo Verde.
Elie Brown was 3-for-4 with a grand slam and five RBIs, and Francesca Foti went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles for Liberty.
Tech 6, Rancho 4 — At Rancho, Jordyn Roark had a two-run single to spark a four-run seventh inning as the Roadrunners rallied past the Rams.
Devine Camberos was 2-for-3 for Rancho.
Desert Oasis 7, Wilsonville (Ore.) 4 — At Desert Oasis, Emily Heinz went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs, and the Diamondbacks talllied six runs in the second inning on their way to a win over Wilsonville.
Dayana Gage went 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI for Desert Oasis.
Foothill 17, Westview (Ore.) 3 — At Foothill, Gabby Canibeyaz was 4-for-4 with a double, three RBIs and three runs to help the Falcons to the five-inning win.
Rhiana Baluan added a two-run homer for Foothill, which had 19 hits.
Boulder City 16, Chaparral 0 — At Chaparral, Karlee Koopman fired a no-hitter to lead the Eagles to an easy win over the Cowboys in five innings.
Koopman struck out five and allowed one baserunner, a second-inning walk.
Alex Frye was 4-for-4 with three RBIs for Boulder City.
Virgin Valley 19, Del Sol 18 — At Del Sol, Alora Bonner and Halle Wakefield each went 4-for-5 to help the Bulldogs outlast the Dragons.
Del Sol loaded the bases with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning, but its final batter was tagged out after a swinging bunt to end the game.
Desiree Orozco was 5-for-6 with four runs for Del Sol, and Ashley Ross went 3-for-5 with two doubles.
