ROUNDUP: Gorman duo helps Gael boys cruise past Adelson

Ivan Sergeyevsky and Zack Boudreaux won two events apiece Thursday to lead Bishop Gorman’s boys swimming team to a 166-41 victory at Adelson School.

Sergeyevsky took the 200-yard freestyle in 2 minutes, 14.13 seconds, and the 50 free in 27.17.

Boudreaux won the 500 free in 6:09.64 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:26.07.

Cimarron-Memorial 168, Desert Oasis 112 — At Adelson, Chang Lin won the 200 individual medley in 2:32.08 and the 100 free in 57.72 to lead the Spartans past the Diamondbacks.

Western 101, The Meadows 10 — At Adelson, Ben Hesse took the 200 free in 2:39.66 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:25.98 to lift the Warriors to the win.

Teammate John Parada won the 50 free in 32.69 and the 100 free in 1:18.75.

GIRLS

Bishop Gorman 177, Adelson School 28 — At Adelson, Shawn Sinclair took the 100 free in 1:12.56 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:33.88 to help the Gaels swamp the Lions.

Cimarron-Memorial 153, Desert Oasis 118 — At Adelson, Tzu Lin won the 200 individual medley in 2:46 and the 100 backstroke in 1:32.2 to lead the Spartans past the Diamondbacks.

Western 70, The Meadows 54 — At Adelson, the Mustangs lost despite Isabella Lee’s victories in the 50 (37.99) and 100 freestyles (1:24.65).
