GIRLS SWIMMING: Domingo leads Aggies past Diamondbacks

Alexis Domingo won the 200-yard individual medley in 2 minutes, 27.72 seconds on Saturday to help Arbor View’s girls swimming team to a 150-133 win over Desert Oasis at Pavilion.

Domingo was the only individual event winner for the Aggies, who also captured two relays.

The Diamondbacks’ Karen Kurosawa won the 100 freestyle in 59.43 and the 100 butterfly in 1:05.23. Charlotte Randolph took the 200 freestyle in 2:07.45 and the 500 freestyle in 5:42.63, and teammate Logan Kim won the 50 freestyle in 27.78 and the 100 backstroke in 1:10.37 for Desert Oasis.

Silverado 178, Canyon Springs 50 — At Pavilion, Kaylin Miller and Paige Lee each won two events to help the Skyhawks top the Pioneers.

Miller was first in the 50 freestyle (30.41) and 100 backstroke (1:15.21), and Lee won the 100 breaststroke (1:31.57) and 200 individual medley (3:01.5).

Palo Verde 198, Bishop Gorman 107 — At Pavilion, Isabella Goldsmith won two individual events, and the Panthers swept the relays en route to the victory over the Gaels.

Goldsmith was first in the 50 freestyle (24.55) and 100 freestyle (53.03).

Sierra Vista 194, Spring Valley 92 — At Pavilion, Taylor Saxon and Isabella Green each won twice to power the Mountain Lions over the Grizzlies.

Saxon won the 200 freestyle (2:07.55) and 500 freestyle (5:41.66), and Green took the 100 butterfly (1:01.33) and 100 backstroke (59.44).

Boulder City 190, Faith Lutheran 95 — At Municipal, Alex Hubel and Montana Lloyd each won two events as the Eagles beat the Crusaders.

Hubel won the 200 freestyle in 1:53.85 and the 100 freestyle in 53.06. Lloyd was first in the 200 individual medley (2:10.74) and 100 backstroke (53.44).

Bonanza 166, Cimarron-Memorial 65 — At Municipal, Eliza Een and Claudia Groenlykke each won two events as the Bengals rolled past the Spartans.

Een was first in the 200 individual medley (3:01.74) and 100 butterfly (1:26.72), and Groenlykke was first in the 200 freestyle (2:34.21) and 500 freestyle (6:41.82).

Coronado 240, Liberty 55 — At Municipal, Shyla Swan won the 50 freestyle (26.46) and 100 backstroke (1:01.72) as the Cougars beat the Patriots.

Eldorado 167, Rancho 42 — At Heritage Park, Emma Winder won the 200 freestyle (2:37.68) and 500 freestyle (7:17.3) to lead the Sundevils over the Rams.

Rancho’s Olivia Johnson and Tonicia Thomas each won two events. Johnson took the 200 individual medley (2:17.0) and 100 butterfly (1:02.0), and Thomas was first in the 50 freestyle (26.32) and 100 backstroke (1:02.78).

Las Vegas 172, Valley 92 — At Heritage Park, the Wildcats swept the relays to beat the Vikings.

Valley’s Nathalie Martinez won the 100 butterfly in 1:08.5 and the 100 backstroke in 1:06.31.

Tech 152, Chaparral 77 — At Heritage Park, the Roadrunners won seven events, including two relays, to beat the Cowboys.

Chaparral’s Shelbee Mirjanian won the 200 individual medley (2:53.99) and 100 breaststroke (1:21.11).
