Roundup: Desert Pines edges Silverado in tiebreaker

The doubles team of Veronica Palacios and Yazaret Arredondo finished 3-0 Friday as they led the Desert Pines girls tennis team to a 10-9 tie-breaking victory over visiting Silverado.

Nadzielli Arredondo and Evelin Beltran each went 2-1 in singles for Desert Pines.

Silverado’s Lyric Ciarlo finished 3-0 in singles.

Moapa Valley 10, Eldorado 9 — At Overton, the Pirates won the tiebreaker 4-2 and went on to defeat the Sundevils.

Eldorado’s Heather Holmes finished 3-0 in singles. The doubles team of Natvej Raju and Devyn Swain also finished 3-0.

Moapa Valley’s Morgan Aikele finished 2-1 in singles.

Legacy 13, Virgin Valley 5 — At Legacy, Blake Berkabile went 3-0 in singles to help the Longhorns top the Bulldogs.

Ally Stolworthy and Talya Fraser each went 2-1 in singles for Legacy.

Durango 12, Del Sol 0 — At Durango, the Trailblazers defeated the Dragons by forfeit.

Rancho at Sunrise Mountain — The match ended in a double forfeit.
