ROUNDUP: Canyon Springs edges Eldorado in boys volleyball

Raymond Esteves had 33 assists, six blocks and five digs to lead Canyon Springs’ boys volleyball team to a 25-15, 25-17, 23-25, 23-25, 15-7 win over visiting Eldorado on Thursday.

Garvin Tanbangcura had 30 digs and Adam Tuala 11 kills, eight blocks and two aces for the Pioneers.

Kapahu Kahalepo and J.T. Washington each had seven kills and Jon Padilla six kills for Canyon Springs.

Las Vegas 3, Chaparral 0 — At Chaparral, Braeden Wilson had 12 kills, 11 digs and four aces to lead the Wildcats over the Cowboys, 25-7, 25-11, 25-22.

Danny Farias had 32 assists and nine digs and Chris Millette nine digs and eight kills for Las Vegas. Carlos Chandia had seven digs and four blocks and Mike Golightly six digs for Chaparral.

Bonanza 3, Western 0 — At Bonanza, Cru Leavitt had 21 assists and Price Jarman 13 kills as the Bengals beat the Warriors, 25-18, 25-12, 25-14.

John Grady had nine kills, four aces and three blocks for Bonanza.

Valley 3, Desert Pines 0 — At Valley, Jim Videaux had 14 assists, nine kills and three blocks to lead the Vikings to a 25-23, 25-20, 25-14 win over the Jaguars.

Taylor Herrington had eight digs, seven kills and six blocks and Alonzo Blount eight kills for Valley.

Sierra Vista 3, Desert Oasis  0 — At Sierra Vista, Jino Soriano had three kills and two blocks and Preston Miranda six assists as the Mountain Lions beat the Diamondbacks, 25-11, 25-7, 25-12.

Bishop Gorman 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Gorman, Bobby Houser had 24 kills as the Gaels earned a 25-22, 26-24, 25-16 win over the Grizzlies.

Cameron Tom had 37 assists, Alex Turner eight kills, Ryan Parks seven kills and Tim Carter four blocks and three aces for Gorman.

Green Valley 3, Tech 0 — At Tech, Cameron Olsen had 14 aces and nine kills to lead the Gators over the Roadrunners, 25-6, 25-19, 25-10.

Taylor Mitchell had 19 assists and four kills and Mark Fernandez five kills for Green Valley.

Foothill 3, Durango 1 — At Durango, Cody Clay had 18 kills, 10 digs and five blocks as the Falcons beat the Trailblazers, 21-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-23.

Foothill’s Walter Coe had 10 blocks and eight kills, and teammate Britain Rosenberg dished out 34 assists.
