ROUNDUP: Lopez, Roadrunners rally to stun Falcons

Edwin Lopez had 54 assists, four kills and four blocks Thursday to help Tech’s boys volleyball team rally to a 24-26, 25-18, 25-20, 25-20 win over visiting Foothill.

Adan Hernandez had 15 kills and five blocks, and Omar Mena added 10 kills and two blocks for the Roadrunners, who got seven kills and three blocks from Hector Galvan.

Raymon Bucche led Foothill with six kills, nine digs and three aces, and teammate Brandon Bly supplied 13 digs.

Coronado 3, Green Valley 1 — At Green Valley, Conner Stephens posted 40 assists, and teammate Coltin Romney added 16 digs as the Cougars downed the Gators, 25-14, 25-13, 19-25, 25-15.

Tyler Cucullu had 10 kills and three blocks for Coronado, which got 13 kills from Austin Moiseyev.

Wesley Reed led Green Valley with nine kills and four blocks. Dimitri Santos added seven kills for the Gators.

Liberty 3, Basic 1 — At Liberty, Sebastian Magno had 25 assists to help lift the Patriots to a 23-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-19 win over the Wolves.

Gil Lim had 10 digs, and Alex Tejada posted eight kills for Liberty.

Cimarron-Memorial 3, Legacy 0 — At Cimarron, Taylor Larsen had 14 assists, and Hayden Newton supplied 10 digs to help the Spartans to a 25-18, 25-22, 25-16 win over the Longhorns.

Kyle Henriksen had seven kills and two blocks, and Brayden Egbert added six kills for Cimarron.

Justin Paquin led Legacy with 12 kills, and teammate Kevin Noorda had 12 assists.

Arbor View 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, Richie Garness had 44 assists, five kills and five digs, and teammate Garrett Rader added 26 digs as the Aggies swept the Desert Shields, 25-8, 25-18, 25-9.

Dylan Mengert had 11 kills, and Darien Bradley supplied seven kills and seven digs for Arbor View.

Naenoa George paced Cheyenne with five digs and two kills, and Leequan Kirk added five blocks.

Silverado 3, Del Sol 0 — At Silverado, Frank Steckel notched eight kills to help the Skyhawks to a 25-13, 25-14, 25-22 win over the Dragons.

Hunter Jones and Angelo Desantis each had three kills for Silverado.

Centennial 3, Mojave 0 — At Centennial, Julian Lupo had 16 assists, and Dustin Buell added seven kills as the Bulldogs routed the Rattlers, 25-8, 25-7, 25-14.

Anthony Turner posted three kills for Centennial.
