ROUNDUP: Silverado wins in boys volleyball, wraps up second place in Southeast League

Christian Espina had 14 kills and four digs Thursday to help Silverado’s boys volleyball team wrap up second place in the Southeast League with a 25-15, 25-23, 25-19 win at Green Valley.

Brayden Olenslager had 10 digs and Austin Tegtmeier five blocks and four kills for the Skyhawks.

Cameron Olsen had seven kills, seven digs, three blocks and two aces and Taylor Mitchell 10 assists and six kills for the Gators.

Liberty 3, Tech 0 — At Tech, Sage Nua had 10 blocks and eight kills to lead the Patriots to a 25-17, 25-15, 26-24 win over the Roadrunners.

James Paras had eight kills and two blocks and Paolo Magno 10 assists for Liberty.

Johnny Wyrick had seven blocks and five kills, Brandon Tiffany five kills and Eddie Lopez eight assists for Tech.

Coronado 3, Basic 0 — At Basic, Hunter Chaney had 19 assists and 15 digs to lead the Cougars over the Wolves, 25-12, 25-19, 25-15.

Chris Austin had 20 assists and 12 kills and Josh Dunkley 16 digs for Coronado.

Mike Lunen had 18 assists and three blocks and Jenson Lavalle eight kills and two blocks for Basic. 

Foothill 3, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, Cody Clay had 16 kills and four aces and Walter Coe 11 blocks and three kills to lead the Falcons over the Dragons, 25-17, 25-16, 25-16.

Daniel Belanger had 19 assists, Jesse Benini 14 digs and Johnathan Daniels six kills for Del Sol. 

Cheyenne 3, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, Rodgrick Moore’s 10 kills, eight assists and three aces helped the Desert Shields to a 25-18, 25-22, 25-12 win over the Rattlers.

Neil Larson added nine assists and seven aces and Brandon Jackson five kills, four aces and three blocks for Cheyenne.

Andre Walker had four kills for Mojave.

Palo Verde 3, Legacy 0 — At Legacy, Donny Doquisa dished out 11 assists to help the Panthers to a 25-14, 25-14, 25-18 victory over the Longhorns.

Drew Topham added eight kills, Nick Hipwell six and Kyston Manuirirangi five for Palo Verde.

Ethan Ewing had six kills and Ben Noel eight assists for Legacy.

Shadow Ridge 3, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Ryan Nolan and Greg Smith each had 17 kills to lead the Mustangs over the Spartans 25-16, 25-18, 25-19 as Shadow Ridge completed a 20-0 regular season.

Scott Beckwith had 11 kills and 10 digs, Triton Manumaleuna 12 digs and seven kills and Taylor Sorenson 27 assists for Cimarron.

Centennial 3, Arbor View 0 — At Centennial, Jeff Mecham dished out 30 assists to help the Bulldogs to a 25-17, 25-17, 25-17 victory over the Aggies.

Drew Staker had 12 kills and Tyler McAnich eight for Centennial.

Taylor Jones had 17 assists and Jeff Mannaa seven digs for Arbor View.
