ROUNDUP: Bertz, Hart lift Trojans in home win over Chargers

Pahrump Valley’s Zoe Bertz had four kills, and Peyton Hart added three kills as the Trojans downed visiting Clark, 25-23, 18-25, 25-16, 25-20 on Monday.

Reegan Van Engen added three blocks for the Trojans.

Michelle Diamant had 12 kills and two blocks for Clark, and Alexis Springs added nine kills and two blocks for the Chargers.

Palo Verde 3, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, Stephanie Herman had 15 assists and four aces to lead the Panthers to a 26-16, 25-12, 25-11 victory over the Rattlers.

Tori Kuckenbecker added five kills and four aces for Palo Verde, and teammate Melanie Gueorguier logged eight kills.

Celeste Manumaleuna led Mojave with four kills, three aces and two blocks.

Sierra Vista 3, Western 0 — At Sierra Vista, Taylor Price had 17 kills and three aces, and Shelby Stiles had 19 assists, four aces and four kills to lead the Mountain Lions to a sweep of the Warriors, 26-24, 25-19, 25-21.

Western’s Carol Riggs had 24 assists, and Aleya Ford-Wheaton had five kills for the Warriors.

Cimarron-Memorial 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, Toree Manumaleuna had 15 kills to help lift the Spartans past the Desert Shields, 25-11, 25-10, 25-11.

Erica Padilla added 21 assists for Cimarron, and teammate Ikia Daniels had nine kills.

Avion Calhoun led Cheyenne with three kills.

Centennial 3, Arbor View 0 — At Arbor View, Ashley Hill had 14 digs, and teammate Kristy Farley recorded six aces and 12 assists as the Bulldogs beat the Aggies, 25-12, 27-25, 25-19.

Lacy Miyahira contributed eight assists, six kills, two aces and six digs for Centennial.

Erika Kelly led Arbor View with seven kills. Micayla McErlean added five kills and three digs, and Allison McClure had 14 assists for the Aggies.

Bishop Gorman 3, Durango 0 — At Durango, Gianna Ruggeroli had 13 kills and eight assists, and Kylee Chun added 16 assists to lead the Gaels to a sweep of the Trailblazers, 25-10, 25-10, 25-22.

Rachel Wallace had 10 digs, Breanna Rubalcaba added nine digs, and Shelby Devlin supplied seven kills, two aces and two blocks for Gorman.

Durango’s Sarah Tullis had 17 assists. Teammate Hailee Wilson had nine kills, and Mariah Fuentes added 11 digs for the Trailblazers.

Bonanza 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Bonanza, Ellyn Hirbayashi recorded six aces and eight digs as the Bengals marched past the Grizzlies, 25-6, 25-20, 25-11.

Mady Huntsman had six aces and four kills for Spring Valley, and teammate Sydney McFadden recorded four aces and 14 assists.

Faith Lutheran 3, Legacy 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Kelsey McCourt had 22 assists and six aces to lead the Crusaders past the Longhorns, 25-7, 25-15, 25-19.

Courtney Hansen helped Faith Lutheran with nine kills, and teammates Cayla Nikodemus and Gianni Perryman each had five kills.

Boulder City 3, Desert Oasis 0 — At Boulder City, Whitney Barlow and Katie Robbins each had seven kills to lead the Eagles to a 25-14, 26-24, 25-16 sweep of the Diamondbacks.

Ali Rants had 38 digs for the Eagles, and Avalon Frantz supplied 27 assists and four aces.

Kindra Stanfield had 18 assists, three blocks and three digs for Desert Oasis. Emily Heinz added eight kills and 10 digs for the Diamondbacks, and teammate Brittney Jensen had 26 digs.

Moapa Valley 3, Liberty 0 — At Liberty, Malary Reid had 11 kills, two blocks and five aces as the Pirates cruised past the Patriots, 25-11, 25-19, 25-22.

Emma Eira recorded seven kills for Moapa Valley, and teammate McKenzey Staley added five aces.

Virgin Valley 3, Rancho 0 — At Mesquite, Nikki Arquette had 18 assists and five digs to lead the Bulldogs to a 25-16, 25-22, 25-17 sweep of the Rams.

Heidi Lister had five kills, four digs and four aces for Virgin Valley, and McCall Gargek added five kills.

Breanna White had five kills and three blocks for Rancho. Dayna Yamaguchi had five assists for the Rams, and teammate Sharisse Nagatori had five digs.
