VOLLEYBALL: Crusaders rally from two-set deficit, top Gorman

Megan Kronschnabel had 32 assists and 11 digs Wednesday as host Faith Lutheran's girls volleyball team rallied from a two-set deficit for a 17-25, 16-25, 26-24, 25-18, 15-5 win over Bishop Gorman.

Bobbi Tharaldson and Tayah Washington each had 10 kills for the Cruaders.

Faith Lutheran's Logan Van Reken supplied 16 digs for Faith Lutheran, which also got five blocks from Bryanna Neagle.

Abbey Archambault had 12 kills and four blocks, and teammate Vashti Cunningham added 12 kills for the Gaels. Sydney Lobato had four kills and 38 assists for Gorman.

Centennial 3, Palo Verde 2 — At Centennial, Emily Anderson had 14 kills, 22 digs and three aces as the Bulldogs defeated the Panthers, 25-13, 23-25, 26-24, 23-25, 15-11.

Talie Bonds added eight kills, 19 assists, 14 digs and two blocks for Centennial, and teammate Kiana Falefitu had nine kills and five blocks.

Kayla Kinney led Palo Verde with 12 kills and three aces, and teammate Emma Gutierrez had 29 assists and 11 digs.

Virginia Rallo added 20 digs for the Panthers.

Arbor View 3, Spring Valley 1 — At Spring Valley, Hannah Goddard had 14 kills, six aces and three blocks as the Aggies beat the Grizzlies, 25-16, 25-10, 24-26, 25-9.

Sarah Goddard added 12 kills and five blocks, and teammate Alyson Jeeves had 37 assists and five aces for Arbor View.

Sofia Valenzuela and Kasey Kershaw added four and three kills, respectively.

Spring Valley's Jessica Rafay had five kills and five assists, and Daniella Amonica supplied five kills and two assists for the Grizzlies.

Rancho 3, Liberty 0 — At Rancho, Karime Raygoze had 12 kills, two aces and 14 digs to lead the Rams to a 25-15, 25-20, 25-19 sweep of the Patriots.

Kayla Coles had eight kills and four blocks for the Rams. Shaye Robles had 16 assists and six digs, and teammate Serenity Sivongsa had 13 assists and eight digs for Rancho.

Maggie Heim had five kills and three digs, and Tiffany Watkins had five kills to lead Liberty.

Aaliyah Ward had 11 assists, and teammate Rianna Baliza had five kills for the Patriots.

Eldorado 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, Abigail Olsen had 10 aces and 11 assists to lead the Sundevils to a sweep of the Pioneers.

Kiana Parkes added three kills for the Sundevils.
