Man dead after Monday shooting in Henderson
A man is dead after a shooting Monday afternoon in a Henderson neighborhood, police said.
Henderson police officers were called about 1:20 p.m. to the Villas at Green Valley Parkway and La Mesa Drive where they found a 26-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound outside of an apartment complex, said Henderson police spokeswoman Michelle French.
He died at the scene, French said.
Eastbound La Mesa Drive will be closed for several more hours while detectives investigate.
Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555, "even if it seems like a small tip," French said.
