Police seek info on man found dead, slumped over steering wheel

A man was found dead in a green minivan near Lake Mead Boulevard and Torrey Pines Drive Monday night, Las Vegas police said.

Police found the man, who had suffered an apparent gunshot wound, slumped over the wheel of the vehicle in a parking lot in the 6300 block of Lake Mead Boulevard. Police said the man was dead when officers arrived.

The identity and cause of death of the man will be determined by the Clark County coroner’s office pending notification of next of kin.
