Donald Trump visit to Houston helped to lift morale

Regarding Ray Byrom’s Saturday letter to the Review-Journal, “Stay home,” in which he stated that President Donald Trump should not have gone to Texas:

Mr. Byrom obviously wouldn’t be pleased no matter what our president did. He made his decision to go to Texas because it was the right thing to do. I am certain if Mr. Byrom went through what those poor people in Texas have endured, he would understand how Mr. Trump’s visit raised and lifted the spirits of the victims.

As a side note — and a very important one — Mr. Byrom neglects to mention the part about Mr. Trump donating a million dollars of his own money to aid the victims in Texas. He makes millions of people, including me, proud to be an American again.
