In response to the Sept. 30 letter on pot lounges: I can only hope that any individuals who walk out of the proposed handful of Las Vegas marijuana lounges will be as responsible as those who walk out the hundreds of bars, lounges, nightclubs, casinos, etc., on a daily/nightly basis. There’s not much we can do unless we close them all down.
Doing what the boss says is business as usual for most workers.
If the A’s play their cards right, Reggie may even agree to throw out one of the Opening Day ceremonial pitches alongside other legends in a few years.
Our water officials are not doing enough to preserve what little water we have left.
How will they campaign for re-election?
Do the job correctly and they should have no fear.
