Nevada should allowing wagering on non-sporting events

The news regarding New Jersey allowing legal wagering on the Academy Awards brings up a question: When will Nevada follow suit?

Nevada is losing out on innovation and tax revenue. The state should be at the forefront of allow betting on nonsporting events such as the Academy Awards and political races so we can remain tops in the industry.
