U.S. government should devote money to controlling the weather

Seems we may be off track in trying to overcome our weather hazards. Instead of aiming to go to Mars and beyond, scientists should start searching for a way to use space satellites to change or detect weather patterns that give us floods, tornadoes, hurricanes and other weather woes. It’s OK to continue with NASA, but we need a new agency manned by scientists to try to work our weather in new ways. I propose the agency be named “NASTY.”
