The pair will be given keys to the city at a ceremony on Fremont Street at 6 p.m.
Harper, an outfielder for the Washington Nationals, won the National League Most Valuable Player Award last month after hitting .330 with 42 home runs and 99 RBIs. Bryant, a third baseman for the Chicago Cubs, won the NL Rookie of the Year Award, helping the Cubs to the NL Championship Series by hitting .275 with 26 homers and 99 RBIs.
Harper attended Las Vegas High and the College of Southern Nevada. Bryant graduated from Bonanza High.
Bryant will return to Las Vegas during spring training as the Cubs play the New York Mets on March 31-April 1 in the conclusion of the teams’ spring training schedules at Cashman Field.
