Young baseball fan taunts player, gets rewarded — VIDEO

Taunting an opponent when your team is down big rarely results in a reward. But it did for a young Indians fan who pointed and shouted at Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera after the boy snagged a foul ball with his hat Tuesday night during Cleveland’s 7-3 defeat.

The antics of the wide-eyed youngster endeared him to the Tigers star, who smiled, pounded his chest and and nodded at the boy to acknowledge his nice catch. In a classy gesture after the inning, Cabrera personally handed the boy another ball, his batting gloves and a bat.
