Clubs provide activities at Shea Home’s Ardiente

Shea Homes' Ardiente, the age-qualified master-planned community in North Las Vegas offers special interest clubs to its residents.

"Many of the clubs at Ardiente have grown and developed on their own, due to residents getting together to start them. It's more of an organic process, where our residents are making the decisions," said Ardiente Sales Manager Ryan Smith.

"The clubs here offer Ardiente residents wonderful opportunities to make new friends and explore their own ideas of fun and adventure."

Some of the clubs at Ardiente include:

Golf Club: Members of all skill levels take advantage of the golf courses in and around Las Vegas, often at discounted rates.

Outdoors Club: Residents get together to experience nature in close proximity to Las Vegas. The group has held fishing and hiking outings, as well as toured nearby national and state parks.

Sunday Supper Club: Once a month, residents gather to visit one of Las Vegas' dining establishments, or have a themed no-host pot luck at Ardiente's Clubhouse. This month, the group will dine at the Mt. Charleston Lodge.

Women's Luncheon Club: The group has a standing monthly lunch date to sample the Las Vegas' many restaurants.

Baking Club: Members meet regularly to explore new recipes and techniques.

Fitness Clubs: Residents can maintain their fitness by joining a weekly G7 class, a twice-weekly aquacize group or Saturday line dancing.

Weight Watchers: Take it off and keep it off with the encouragement and advice of motivated club members.

Nimblefingers Sewing Club: An opportunity to sew with other residents.

Bocce Club: This group plays bocce every Saturday.

The gated, secure community of Ardiente offers 20,000 square feet of resort amenities including a private clubhouse featuring two pools, state-of-the-art fitness center, group exercise room and billiard room.

Within the private setting are seven parks, tennis and bocce courts, 2.5 miles of walking and fitness trails and a challenging putting course.

There are six new Shea Homes designs at Ardiente that range from 1,359 to 1,930 square feet.

Homebuyers can choose from more than 2,000 options, upgrades and popular upgrade packages at the onsite Shea Design Studio. Shea Homes interior designer, Lisa Kossey, will provide expertise and assist Ardiente homebuyers in finding the latest in floorings, cabinetry, window coverings and paints.

All homes are built to Shea Green Certified standards, popular from cost-savings and resource-conservation standpoints and offer potential energy savings. According to Smith, the potential for energy savings is as much as 30 percent and carbon footprint reduction of up to 48 percent. The Environments for Living homes offer written performance guarantees on heating and cooling energy use.

Home prices start in the mid-$100,000s.

Shea Homes is the exclusive builder at Ardiente. Ardiente's model gallery is located at 5840 Summit Greens St. in North Las Vegas and is open daily.
