The Bureau of Land Management staff plans a meeting regarding Sloan Canyon from 7 to 9 p.m. Sept. 26 at the New Song Lutheran Church, 1291 Cornet St.

LIBRARIES SCHEDULE INTRODUCTORY COMPUTER CLASSES
An introductory computer class is set for 10 a.m. Oct. 1 at the Paseo Verde Library, 280 S. Green Valley Parkway. The class is set to cover basic functions and Microsoft Windows 7 and is limited to 12 people.

HENDERSON BLUE RIBBON COMMISSION PLANS COLLEGE NIGHT WORKSHOP
The Henderson Blue Ribbon Commission on Educational Excellence and Youth Opportunity plans its annual College Night workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 30 at the Black Mountain Recreation Center, 599 Greenway Road. The event is set to cover applications, scholarship resources, resumes, recommended classes, sports and more. Admission is free, and registration is not required.

GREEN VALLEY LIBRARY TO HOST WORKSHOPS ON AGING
