Since the first implosion in the Las Vegas Valley in 1993, they've become major events celebrating the new and remembering the old.

If you've lived in Las Vegas that long or longer, you've seen the Las Vegas Strip transform into something new every few years — the Strip 20 years ago wouldn't recognize the Strip today. Locals have said goodbye to classic casinos that helped spread the name Las Vegas around the world, as well as some others you probably forgot about.
