Preschooler expelled over mom’s Facebook post

A 4-year-old was expelled from preschool after his mother posted a criticism of the boy’s school on her private Facebook page.

Florida mom Ashley Habat was outraged by her son’s discipline, NY Daily News reports.

“Why is it that every single day there is something new I dislike about Will’s school?” she posted. “Are my standards really too high or are people working in the education field really just that ignorant.”

Though her profile was set to private, the post itself tagged the boy’s school. The next day, Habat was called into her son’s private school and given a letter of dismissal.

“You utilized social media to call into question not only the integrity, but the intelligence of our staff,” the letter read. “These actions are also consistent with sowing discord, which is spoken of in the handbook you signed.”
