Pulte Homes to hold grand opening today

Pulte Homes will host a grand opening on four model homes today in its newest community in the southwest valley, Coldwater Crossing. Festivities are scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“Located within the Mountain’s Edge master plan, Coldwater Crossing offers families the energy-efficient benefits of a new home in an area with quality schools and an easy commute to entertainment and employment corridors,” said Linda Mamet, vice president of sales for PulteGroup’s Las Vegas Division.

“Coldwater Crossing’s combination of affordability, along with proximity to jobs, schools, retail and services offers an ideal combination to homebuyers seeking a very special place to live,” Mamet said. “This is an established area that is close to great parks and recreational amenities.”

Mountain’s Edge has existing and planned schools, offices, restaurants and neighborhood shops ranging from convenience and grocery stores to nearby malls and outlets. Close to mountain biking trails and more, the community is near Nathaniel Jones Park, Exploration Park and its water park. Located south of Blue Diamond Road (State Route 160 and near the 215 Beltway), Coldwater Crossing is a short drive to the Strip and convenient to McCarran International Airport.

The two-level homes in Coldwater Crossing start at $241,880, and range in size from 2,047 to 2,593 square feet. Four home designs feature open living areas with three and four bedrooms and 2½ to 3½ baths. Distinctive interior features include: birch wood cabinets, granite and stainless steel undermount kitchen sinks, recessed lighting, ceramic tile in key areas and elegant bathrooms with dual bowl vanities in master baths.

“The community features Pulte’s Life Tested designs that reflect home plans developed from ideas from actual homeowners and homebuyers. The new designs are a direct result of local consumer research on how families really live in their homes,” Mamet said.

“Our homes are constantly being updated with the innovations that come from the people who know how a home should function — the people living in them,” Mamet said. “The result is a home that is truly built for how you live in it.”

In addition to its distinctive home features, Coldwater Crossing’s offers many environmentally friendly features such as: blown-in cellulose insulation; 15 SEER-rated air conditioning system; energy efficient gas furnace; low-e2 dual pane windows with vinyl frames in beige; digital programmable thermostat; florescent lighting in garage and laundry; tankless water heater; Energy Star appliances; water-efficient toilets; water-saving shower heads and faucets; fresh air circulation system; low VOC paint; recycled building materials; and certified renewable resources.
