Rowing team ‘attacked’ by swarm of fish — VIDEO

A Washington University rowing team was spooked when they were “attacked” by a swarm of Asian carp toward the end of their practice.

In Creve Coeur Lake near St. Louis, the team was preparing to dock when the fish emerged and responded to the threat — some even landing in the boat.

A team member described the event to CNN: “The fish was flopping on my legs. It was so slippery that I couldn’t get a grip on it.”

No one was injured in the attack, but CNN reported the smell didn’t go away quickly.
