Teacher buys new Tucson from Planet Hyundai Sahara

Crystal Jamerson grew up in North Las Vegas, graduated from Rancho High School and returned to the school where she now works as an English teacher. And when Jamerson decides that she wants to get out of town, she can now travel worry-free thanks to her new 2013 Hyundai Tucson from Planet Hyundai Sahara.

“I love to travel,” said Jamerson, who has visited China, Ireland, Belize, England, France, Belgium and Scotland, among other place.

“I love Las Vegas, but you have to get on the road once in awhile,” Jamerson said. “On spring break, I’m going to Panaca, Nevada, to visit my brother.”

Jamerson previously owned a 2005 Hyundai Elantra and felt sure that she could have owned the car for several more years.

“It was a great car. We took it on a road trip all the way to San Francisco and it was a very reliable car. It was roomy enough and got great gas mileage. I knew I was going to buy another Hyundai, considering the luck I had with my Elantra.”

The Tucson has an automatic transmission with a four-cylinder engine and an Ecoshift, which helps with gas mileage.

“I easily get up to 300 miles to the tank. It has enough room to fit several adult guests easily. I took my principal and assistant principals for rides and they loved the car, too,” she said.

Jamerson also said the Tucson’s the interior is well-designed.

“Everything is hands-free,” she said. “I love the fact that I can make voice demand calls and it provides a great ride.”

Jamerson also praised her sales consultant Brandon White.

“Brandon wasn’t pushy at all and he let me make up my own mind,” she said. “I was getting my car serviced and wasn’t really considering the purchase of a new car at the time. He showed me what I wanted to see and just told me to let him know when I was ready.

“I walked away and came back a week later I already had a good car and needed time to think about the purchase.”
