William Lyon Homes opens two communities

William Lyon Homes presents two neighborhoods — Lyon Estates and Serenity Ridge.

“At William Lyon Homes, we begin with the geographic setting for each individual community,” said Linda Kemper, vice president of sales and marketing. “From that starting point, we begin incorporating complementary style and character with inviting architecture, fresh design and building features that both serve and beautify.

“Each new element in the process incorporates the last, and that’s the key to developing a home that forms a cohesive whole,” Kemper continues. “So that in the end, we’ve presented our customers a residence with an uncommon personality that speaks to them. And that’s where their fun begins.”

The eight different single-story offerings at Lyon Estates and Serenity Ridge are where you can begin planning your move-in strategy.

Prices at both communities are from the high $400,000s, but the character of each is singularly defined.

Serenity Ridge offers an atmosphere reminiscent of “Big Sky Country.” Its location in the northwest valley is secluded yet spacious, a welcome respite from the crowds residents face during their daily urban pastimes.

Situated near North Grand Canyon Drive and West Ann Road, it has four floor plans of ranging from 3,032 to 4,000 square feet, with as many as five bedrooms, 3½ baths and three-car garages, with extra space.

One stunning showcase at Serenity Ridge is Plan Two, where William Lyon Homes’ originality in blending beauty and function is apparent.

The interior courtyard of this home lends a dramatic flair that affects every element therein, particularly the main living area.

From your family’s gathering space, a view of nature is found wherever you turn. You’ll discover equally dramatic impact specific to each floor plan in the remaining three models at Serenity Ridge, Kemper said.

Lyon Estates edges toward a suburban setting simultaneously accessible and reclusive, near West Grand Teton Drive and North Rainbow Boulevard.

This Silver Nugget 2014 Community of the Year offers four single-story plans ranging from 3,561 to 4,440 square feet and from four to six bedrooms, with as many as 4½ baths and a four-car garage.

The first of these homes, Plan One at Lyon Estates (also chosen as the Silver Nugget’s Best Single Family Home in its class) greets visitors with a courtyard of comfort so inviting you’ll want to kick back and relax outside the front door. But when you do venture in, you’ll find a sense of space and volume that is at once defined and connected, with huge exterior views that enhance your experience of every living area, Kemper said.

Variable room uses and configurations include dens, game rooms, multigenerational suites, or an auxiliary building with a detached garage, pool house, patio or casita (Serenity Ridge).

Interior finishing touches are on display in every model where optional bay windows, extended sliding glass panels, and multiple feature upgrades, along with a wide array of standard selections and color choices, are available from floor to ceiling.

Highly detailed exterior elements give each design a head start when it comes to the impact of your street scene: your “calling card,” so to speak. Liberal use is made of stone décor, porticos, covered porches, gated courtyards and architectural relief.

To visit Lyon Estates, take U.S. Highway 95 north to Buffalo Drive, head north to Grand Teton Drive and turn right, then travel just past Rainbow Boulevard. Or call 702-476-6119. For Serenity Ridge, take U.S. 95 to Ann Road, head west just past Grand Canyon Drive; or call 702-778-6686.
