Warm and breezy week ahead
The workweek in Las Vegas will kick off with warm and breezy weather, according to the National Weather Service.
Sunday saw a high temperature of 108 degrees, meteorologist Caleb Steele said. No rain is expected this week, he said.
The valley will see afternoon breezes for most of the week, but they will decrease as the week proceeds, Steele said.
Temperatures will stay about average for the rest of the week, with a high of 105 degrees forecast for Monday and 106 on Tuesday and Wednesday, the weather service said.
Highs will start to rise as the week comes to a close. Thursday’s forecast high is 107 degrees, Steele said. Temperatures are expected to reach 108 Friday and Saturday.
