Warm and sunny now, but weather change coming for Las Vegas

Warm and sunny days are expected to continue through Saturday for the Las Vegas Valley, but Sunday may bring high winds and scattered showers according the National Weather Service said.

Friday and Saturday should see temperatures in the high 70s, with a Friday high of 80 degrees and a Saturday high of 79 degrees. However, temperatures will gradually drop on Sunday.

A storm will pass through Sunday and Monday with a chance of showers, and high winds. Sunday will cool down to 66 degrees while Monday will cool to 61 degrees. Winds of 20 to 30 mph are expected Sunday afternoon.

With the storm on Sunday and Monday, snow is expected to return to Mount Charleston.

By Tuesday it will dry up and temperatures will get back up to 65 degrees. Wednesday’s forecast temperature is 70 degrees.
