Warm and sunny weather is forecast for the Las Vegas Valley this week.

Temperatures hit 82 degrees Tuesday, up from 79 on Monday, the National Weather Service said.

Forecast highs will continue to climb Wednesday and Thursday, with highs of 86 and 88, respectively, the weather service said. Breezes could reach 15 mph Wednesday.

Friday and Saturday are expected to hit 91 degrees and 92 degrees, respectively. Sunday’s temperature is expected to dip back down to 88 degrees, which is the average temperature this time of year, the weather service said.

Sunny skies are expected to stick through the weekend, and the weather service said no rain is expected in the valley this week.

A calm Saturday was turning into what is expected to be a 24-hour plus windstorm with gusts to 50 mph or higher. Mountain wind gusts may reach 75 mph.
