Sundance Helicopters auctions bird’s-eye view of Riviera implosion for charity

Sundance Helicopters is auctioning off a truly once-in-a-lifetime flight — and arguably the best seats in the city — for two guests to take in the Riviera’s implosion from high above Las Vegas Boulevard.

In an eBay auction benefiting Make-A-Wish of Southern Nevada, guests can place their bids to win two “VIP front-row seats” on board Sundance Helicopters’ Riviera Implosion Tour.

The winner of the auction (plus a guest) will be picked up by limousine on Tuesday for a 1 a.m. arrival at the departure site.

From there, the pair will be whisked on board a Sundance helicopter flight where they will enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the Riviera’s 24-story Monaco tower as it collapses to the ground, organizers said in a news release.

With bidding starting at $500 for the two seats, guests have until 9:50 a.m. on Sunday to cast their bids on the breathtaking experience.

According to the eBay listing, 100 percent of proceeds from the auction will be donated to Make-A-Wish of Southern Nevada.
