Crystal Hefner ponders ‘Bubble Butt,’ ‘bikini girls’

I call Crystal Hefner whenever she comes to Las Vegas because she’s happy, easygoing and friendly — my favorite traits in a person.

The Playboy royalty will DJ Saturday for the finals of Rehab dayclub’s summer bikini contest.

Question: Where are you?

Answer: At the Playboy Mansion, hanging out. I’m still in my pajamas. It’s a good day.

Q: That sounds like the most ideal life in the world. Why would you do anything other than that?

A: I don’t leave here much. When I do, I have a lot of fun, DJing and being in Vegas.

Q: I’m not trying to be pervy, I swear, but do you wear onesie pajamas with bunny ears and a little bunny tail?

A: That’s funny. I’m wearing pink pajamas. It’s pants and a long-sleeved top. It’s not very sexy.

Q: You have the bikini finals coming up Saturday at Rehab dayclub. Is this also your last DJ gig there for the summer?

A: Yeah. It’s been a lot of fun. I’m excited to see who wins this bikini contest. My sister-in-law is actually in the finals, as well.

Q: What? That’s crazy.

A: My sister-in-law, Caya Hefner, she’s married to Hef’s brother Keith. We’re pretty much besties, and she’s in the bikini contest because she has a hot body.

Q: I’ve been trying to get down there, but I’ve had a muscle spasm, which sounds more fun than it is. It’s been two months of hell. So what has the bikini contest been like?

A: It’s been really awesome. Each week, there’s about 40 girls. The girls are beautiful. The crowd loves seeing the bikini girls, cheering for their favorite ones. The last time I was there, I think there were 3,000 people. You live in Vegas, right?

Q: I do. I love Vegas.

A: My sister (Nikki) lives in Vegas. She loves it, too. She does real estate. She’s lived there a few years now. Her husband’s a restaurant manager at one of the restaurants inside The Venetian. They love it.

Q: Does that mean when you come to town, you stay with her?

A: I mostly am just in-and-out, the same day. I make it back to the mansion in time for movie night.

Q: What’s your favorite movie of all time?

A: I really like the movie “Cruel Intentions.” The title’s kind of weird, but the movie’s amazing. And then I like all the cheesy ones, like “Titanic.”

Q: Awww, you’re queen of the world.

A: Yeah, right? And Hef’s favorite movie is “Casablanca.” We watch that every year on his birthday. Humphrey Bogart is awesome.

Q: I want to ask you about the bikini thing again, because bikinis are involved. What songs have you found are best to make the booties bounce?

A: Usually, it’s booty songs, like “Bounce Generation” is a really good one. Any song that tells people to shake their booties is really good.

Q: People love to be told to shake their booties.

A: There’s that Big Sean song that’s like, “Ass, ass, ass.” They love that one. And “Bubble Butt” is a good one to get the girls dancing.

Q: Do you ever get tired of seeing girls’ butts?

A: Not really. I’m kind of used to it, with all the Playmates and different shoots. Today there’s a playmate shoot going on at the mansion, which is really cool.

Q: What are you going to do when you stop DJing for the season?

A: Probably enjoy the rest of the year. Maybe go to Disneyland. Start thinking about the holidays, and what to get Hef for Christmas. That takes a lot of thinking.

Q: Thank you again for your time, Crystal. You go have fun in your pajamas.

A: Thank you. Talk to you soon!
