Electric Daisy Carnival gets its own 3-D movie

It’s just like being there — except without to having to sit in traffic for two hours beforehand.

“Under the Electric Sky” is a promising-looking new 3-D film about the Electric Daisy Carnival that’s a headfirst plunge into the audio-visual wonderland that is the mammoth dance music festival.

The production values at EDC, which takes place at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in June, rival that of a blockbuster summer popcorn flick, so it’s fitting that the festivities have made their way to the big screen.

The movie will play here on May 29 at the AMC Town Square 18.

Until then, you can get a preview of “Under the Electric Sky” on the official website or watching the trailer for the film below.
