Jams and jolly: Widespread Panic will deliver free-form exuberance
June 26, 2014 - 8:30 pm
Three consecutive days of Widespread Panic?
D-u-u-u-u-u-u-d-e.
Can you handle that much air guitar?
Your wrists are getting swollen at the mere thought of trying to keep up with six-stringer Jimmy Herring for that long, aren’t they?
Better start limbering up now, for the steadfast Georgia jam band is returning for what is starting to become an annual pilgrimage to The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel.
More indebted to The Allman Brothers Band than the Dead, Widespread Panic has become the most consistent act of their ilk, their dedication to the road underscored by 10, count ’em, 10 live albums.
Hey, maybe they’ll track another one this weekend.
