Vegas Stripped: Lighting up the fashion world — VIDEO

Ronnie Brust is the brains behind Illuminated Couture, where he creates light-up clothing and head pieces with painstaking attention to detail.

“Whereas my competitors are using Christmas lights on pre-wired strings … I make everything scratch, from the ground up,” he says.

Light-up clothing is recently starting to expand to an audience outside his normal Burning Man and EDC clientele. Claire Danes recently wore a light-up gown at the MET Gala designed by Zac Posen.

With an already dedicated following on Instagram, Brust expects to be at the front of this trend.
